Distributor is bringing its complete power ecosystem to landmark locations in 2025 and 2026
Brussels, Belgium, 24 November 2025 – Avnet Silica, an Avnet company (NASDAQ: AVT), today announced a European roadshow series dedicated to power management and energy innovation. Beginning in November 2025 and running through April 2026, these in-person events will bring together engineers and decision-makers for in-depth discussions, live demonstrations, and collaborative learning in unique and inspiring locations across Europe.
As part of the distributor’s “Powering the Shift” concept, which supports customers as they transition toward smarter, more reliable, and efficient power designs, the power seminar series is designed for technical professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of leading-edge power innovation.
Showcasing rigorous technical information through presentations rooted in real-world evaluation boards, reference designs, and industry research, Avnet Silica sets out to equip attendees with knowledge that mirrors the quality and depth of technical congress-level submissions. Leading power suppliers, including Microchip, Nexperia, onsemi, Renesas Electronics, ROHM Semiconductor, and STMicroelectronics will present SiC and GaN technologies, thermal optimization, and improved system performance, and ecosystem partners Rohde & Schwarz will lead sessions on efficient testing of fast-switching semiconductors, showing how precise measurement and smarter test setups can cut power losses and boost design performance.
Attendees can also explore the Power Marketplace to experience the distributor’s power linecard and ecosystem of partners in person, featuring solutions from the aforementioned partners as well as Coilcraft, Diodes Incorporated, Farnell, MaxLinear, Monolithic Power Systems, Avnet Abacus, Murata, Panasonic Industry, Vishay Intertechnology, and Yageo Group.
“Every customer is at a different stage of their power journey,” said Thomas Hauer, Technology Specialist Power EMEA at Avnet Silica. “We recognise the critical need for highly technical, application-led discussions in the power electronics space. Our ‘Powering the Shift’ seminars are meticulously crafted to provide engineers with practical value, offering direct access to expertise and technology from our world-class suppliers, design partners, and our team of power specialists. We’re excited to host these events in unique and exciting locations that spark creativity.”
Seminars are scheduled to take place at different venues throughout Europe, beginning in November in the UK.
