Brussels, Belgium, 2nd March 2023: Avnet Abacus, one of Europe’s leading interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power distributors and a regional business unit of Avnet (NASDAQ: AVT), will be present at embedded world 2023, which is being held at the Messe Nuremberg, Germany between 14-16 March 2023.

The Avnet Abacus umbrella theme for the event will be ‘Transforming Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow’ and will be presenting specific application themes across five dedicated workstations, offering a combination of digital and physical demonstrations, respectively focussing upon fast-growing market sectors:

  • Transportation
  • Industrial
  • Smart City and Infrastructure
  • Medical and Healthcare
  • Displays and Embedded Boards

The company will be presenting in partnership with many of its leading suppliers, including Bel Fuse, Bourns, Molex, Mornsun, TE Connectivity and TDK. In particular, the distributor will showcase IoT and cloud-connected applications that support key trends in the smart industrial and medical sectors. The demos will include industrial sensors from TE and TDK, power supplies from Mornsun, a customer-based application solution for a baby monitor, plus an energy-harvesting kit demonstration based around a CO2 sensor.
